Tanjung Pinang is the capital and second largest city of the Indonesian province of Riau Islands after Batam. A city with roughly 200,000 residents.

Tanjung Pinang is located on south of Bintan island and has ferry and speedboat connections to Batam, Singapore (40 km away), and Johor Bahru.

Other attractions and sights frequented by tourists include the Senggarang Temples and the Raja Haji Fisabillah Monument.

Just off the coast of Tanjung Pinang, Penyengat Island is a historic center of Malay culture. Visitors can look forward to many interesting heritage sites, villages, old Dutch fort, royal mausoleums and old palaces. Do not miss the popular Masjid Raya Sultan Mosque, historically erected in 1832 by King Abdulrahman.

Dragon Boat Festival is the most look forward event, held every October along the Tanjung Pinang coast facing Penyengat Island. It features cultural performances, swimming competition and traditional diving challenges

Raja Haji Fisabilillah whо died during the battle оf Malacca against the Dutch іn 1784.
He wаs а famous Malayan king аnd hаd hіs castle оn Penyengat island outside Tanjung Pinang.

Upon arrival, meet and greet with local tour guide. Starting our city tour by passing our our local market. Local market is well-known as the oldest China Town, over here you can see old buildings and temple aged for more than 100 years. Visit, Tanjung Pinang Museum to get to know about the background and history of Bintan Island. Take a look on the historical artifact of the Melayu Kingdom.

Lunch place at Local Nasi Padang Restaurant.

After lunch, transfer to visit the cuttlefish factory to shop for local dried seafood souvenirs. Over here you can see the process of making dried seafood especially Cuttlefish.

Transfer to Ramayana the biggest shopping center at town and you may enjoy your time to shopping.

Pamper yourself for an hour of full-body Massage before heading back to Singapore.
